3-Candle Window binary options strategy is a statistical trading strategy for binary options. The idea behind the strategy is to open trades strictly at one specific time — 18:00 UTC. The expiration time should be set to 90 minutes, or 1.5 hours. Assets: any currency pairs.

The strategy is tied to one specific market time — 18:00 UTC. For each country, this time must be converted to the local time zone.

Risk Management

Trading is carried out with a fixed amount that does not exceed 5% of the trading balance. It is better to avoid trading during the release of major economic news.

3-Candle Window Strategy: Bullish Signal (Opening an Up Trade)

• If the price was rising during the 16:30–18:00 UTC period, open an up trade with a 90-minute expiration

3-Candle Window Strategy: Bearish Signal (Opening a Down Trade)

• If the price was falling during the 16:30–18:00 UTC period, open a down trade with a 90-minute expiration

Trading on Forex and CFD

• Before trading with real funds, it is recommended to test the strategy on a demo account first by opening at least 3–5 trades
• A trade is opened only after a signal from the trading strategy appears
• The Take Profit to Stop Loss ratio should be 3:1, meaning three units of potential profit for every one unit of possible loss
• The trading time frame is not critical: minute charts can be used for scalping, while hourly or daily charts are more suitable for longer-term trading
• Take Profit and Stop Loss levels are set according to the selected time frame
• On minute charts, the strategy may generate false signals during major economic news releases, so it is better to trade on higher time frames or choose another trading period
